10 things NOT to do in 2014 (in no particular order):
1. Counting Calories
2. Long Distance Cardio
3. Thinking "Cardio" not "Conditioning"
4. Not Dead lifting
5. Not buying more organic food
6. Drinking Alcohol (yes, its THAT bad)
7. Not increasing your protein/fat and lowering your carbs
8. Not getting 8 hours of sleep
9. Following the crowd
10. Not having a dream
Don't underestimate sleep! The quickest way to a lowered vitality level is to start skimping on the zzzz's. Here is a quick tip - every hour of sleep before midnight is worth 2 after...meaning that if two people each got 7 hours of sleep in a night but one went to bed at 10 pm and one went to bed at 1 am, the 10 pm sleeper would wake up more refreshed and ready to go than his late night counterpart even though they both technically slept the same amount of time.
Your body does not care that you want to stay up and watch your favorite sitcom about the quirky girl and her quirky adventures....go to bed for your health's sake!
